  • How Safe is Baby in the Womb?

for moms for teachers ppi graduates pregnant Dec 20, 2024

➣ The UTERUS and the AMNIOTIC SAC provide a HIGHLY PROTECTIVE barrier for baby.

🧪 Here is the scientific explanation:

➡️ The fetal membrane has a bilayer structure composed of a thick, cellular chorion covering an interior thin, amnion comprised of a dense layer of collagen fibrils.

➡️ This means baby (fetus) is WELL-protected by STRONG bag-like structures, in addition to the amniotic fluid that baby moves in.

Pilates exercises are incredibly safe for baby!

The concern with baby is ONLY high-impact, contact sports, which Pilates is not.

SO, if you have been fearful of teaching pregnant women because you are afraid of hurting baby, you can cross that fear off your list once and for all!

Watch the video "The Womb in Fascia" to learn more about this AMAZING structure!
